He fell in love with our Native American spirit and all the history that it intwines with American history. It is the only spirit his grandfather kept in the house and the only brown spirit my father had in his life. Paul is also a Certified Bourbon Steward with the Stave and Thief Society. Eggerding earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with 25 classes on January 12th, 2022, at Whiskey University as well as the title of "Adjunct Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of First Lieutenant in the Bourbon Brigade.
Paul was part of the Summer Semester of Instructors in 2021 and graduated with his Associate Degree after passing 16 classes on November 16th, 2021. He spends his time teaching and talking about bourbon, spending time with his daughter Eva and riding his motorcycle across the country. Paul is currently living in Brookfield, IL just west of Chicago, Illinois. Eggerding also served in the United States Navy as a Firecontrol Specialist on board the U.S.S. Paul graduated with his Associate's Degree from Triton College in 1989 with a degree in Fire Science Technology. Paul is a Lieutenant and paramedic with a fire department in the suburbs of Chicago.
